I am a senior in high school this year. I didn't really do my home work on this stuff last spring and I can't seem to find a list of schools for the subject I want to study. I want to study communications. I live in Ithaca, NY and I know that IC and Syracuse have good programs, but I want to know how they compare to other schools within 5-6 hours of here.
I have good enough grades that I dont think that will be too big of an issue.
If anyone can help me out, it would be great.

Syracuse is excellent - I'd place it in the top 5 for communications. Other schools in the top 5 within 5 hours of you: Boston U, NYU Ithaca is a step below these schools but still considered very good.
Schools that have good communications departments within 5 hours of you would also include Quinnipiac (CT), Emerson (MA), Fairfield U (CT), Villanova (PA), Fordham (NY), Juniata (PA), Loyola (MD), Muhlenberg (PA)

Thanks a lot. I will look into some of those schools more.
