I currently live on Long Island and go into the city once a month to do stand up (new talent nights). I'm 17 and I have to decide on a college to go to.
Sat: 530 verbal
570 math
1100 overall, 79 average in hs, white male.
I really want to go to school in NYC but feel I must have a dorm. I've visited Eugene Lange and Hunter and personally think hunter looked like a shithole. I excluded pace because I'm not interested in business. I'm also considering Boston and Washington DC schools yet in the end I'm looking for a schoool in a major city with a dorm.
Oh yeah, I'd go to school in LA yet my Jewish parents sphitz over me going to another time zone. Let me know any suggestions.

SUNY Purchase perhaps? Artsy school with good drama/theater department. Easy commuting distance to the city.
Other possibilities: Syracuse U, Boston U, George Washington or American, Goucher (in Baltimore).

I've considered Suny Purchase. I'm also looking at wagner yet have yet to come to a final decision.

Doesn't Pace have a decent theatre program? What was Eugene Lang like?
