What do you guys think of this school? I heard a lot of people didn't like it and I was just wondering why

Excellent school, on par with some ivies. It's not quite as well known as the ivies but is certainly prestigious nonetheless. Great programs in journalism, medicine, the sciences, the arts, engineering, etc. Also, wonderful location. NU is just an awesome all-around school, so you really can't go wrong no matter what you want to study (generally speaking). One negative comment I've heard about it is that NU keeps comparing itself to the ivies and is always in some sort of competition with them. Naturally, being an exceptional school, they are in competition with other top schools, but I hear they go a little over the edge with comparisons. That's just ONE opinion, though. You can visit and form your own opinions on the subject.

One thing I read was that NW had the highest percentage of students who would go to a diff. college if they had another chance. i think the exact stat is like nearing 25% or something
