Syracuse University. The Newhouse School of Communications has an excellent program in advertising/public relations and a great alumni job network.

Check into Miami of Ohio. While not specifically "advertising" their business/marketing department used to be highly recommended.

USC - annenberg school of communication.

I'm not sure if Northwestern offers anything in advertising but Chicago is the advertising captial of the country.

Miami University in Oxford, OH. (45 min. outside of Cincinnati)

University of Maryland at College Park, in their Journalism program. Northwestern probably has a great one too.

I had the hardest time finding schools that actually had advertising. I was so happy to find out that USC had advertising, and so that is now where I am!

San Diego State, Pepperdine, and San Jose State also have advertising.

UNC-Chapel Hill has a great journalism department under which advertising is included.
