I'm only posting some REACH schools I'm considering here - trust me, I am NOT confident or qualified enough to have this as all the schools that I'll apply to. Pretty much all of these are going to be tough for me, but I'm interested in what kind of International department they have anyway:

Brown
Columbia
Harvard
Yale
Williams
Amherst
Dartmouth
Princeton
UPenn
UChicago
Wiliams
Bowdoin

Anyone know how these schools look in terms of their International Studies/Relations programs? And no, I don't mean studying abroad.

Hi!

I am also interested in majoring in IS/IR. My college list is as follows:

UChicago
Tufts
Gtown
Pton--REACH!!!! :)
JHU

safeties:
American
GWU

from your list:

I know that Harvard, & Dartmouth don't have the exact undergrad major...I don't think Amherst or Brown has it either...

UPenn is good, esp for Int'l business
UChicago and Princeton are good

I'm not sure about the others on your list....get on their websites and find the website for the Int'l Relations or Studies or Affairs or w/e program. I'll warn you now--Princeton's website is awful!!(IMO) esp considering they're supposed to be #1 !!

hope this helps!

:)

For programs in IR, you need to add Tufts, Georgetown, American, and GWU. The last two are significantly easier to get into, but have good programs.

Hi,

I am very interested in doing my Masters in IS/IR. Since I am getting started in understanding this, I wanted to know what would be reqd for this --

GRE/GMAT
TOEFL /ELTS ( Am not a native English speaker).

And what would be the school rankings beyond the top ten ( say 10 to 30).

Tks a lot.
Zeke
