what universities allow students to concentrate their efforts on one degree with a major or two AND provide oppurtunities for attaining certificates in area like nurse practitioner, emt, health care management etc. i want this so i can take a year off between undergrad and med school (assuming i continue in that track AND make it!) and work during that year to bolster my education. i just don't want to be a doctor (money doctor MD) or a wise and philisophical (poor hungry doctor phd). i want to be well educated in my perspective and in the light of success and monetary gain. lots of small degrees, practical degrees etc etc etc.

I didn't really understand this post, but the thread's title was so funny that I had to stop by to read it. "Multiple degrees for multiple success" sounds like a community college advertisement from hell.

although it should be successes, but success makes it more nostalgic/reminiscent of a cc.
