I am confused as to why anyone would want to be in a school that was more accepting of them because they looked different from another. I do not understand why somebody that actually did work harder than others because they were a minority would want to get into a school not for their hard work. In the Michigan case, the point was not that AA was discriminating, it was the point that they were accepting so many minorities that the minorities were no longer the minority. Diversity is a good thing, overcoming adversity is a good thing, but segregation is a bad thing. Affirmitive action is against the constitution, it is not being argued that it is wrong or right, its just against the prewritten rights. Besides do you really think that a bunch of white guys in the time that this law was written were really looking out for the minorities? Yes, they were all just a bunch of lovable puppies! Please, everybody sees the now, look into the future, these guys created affirmitive action so their white grand children could get a job in the future, they actually expected it to work. Thank goodness for Michigan, they did not accept this "genious" of a woman, she does not realize she is screwing her whole future career, along with her childrens.
