I have completed my first year of college at a state univ. The classes at the State U. was a joke. Anyways, I applied to Stanford and Cornell as a trasfer student. I was denied by Stanford and accepted be Cornell. I have decided to attend Cornell in the fall.
I was wondering if it would be wise to apply to Stanford as a transfer student. I am majoring in Electrical Eng.
BTW, how much work will I encounter at Cornell?
I appreciate any insights.

i heard cornell is harder than harvard in academics but harvard is harder to get into. cornell is in fact one of the hardest ivies- and this reflects in one of the highest suicide rates in the nation among college campuses (along with MIT). a scary thought but just be aware.
