I recently graduated with a B.A. in poli sci, and after doing an exhaustive search for grad schools in the Northeast, the choices just seem overwhelming. I should mention that I'm located in NYC, thus would prefer NYU/Columbia/UPenn, and have some minor internship/entry level experience in the field, and a pretty good academic record. What do YOU recommend? By the way, I'm still undecided between comparative politics and IR.

Either Columbia or UPenn would be my recommendation over NYU for grad school in any social science and I'd probably give Columbia the edge for political science and International Relations over UPenn. More opportunities for internships and research in NYC. Also, have you considered Princeton at all?
