what other schools have highly regarded Pre-Med programs other than the Ivys and JHU. Is it harder to get into pre-med at JHU than let's see engineering if ur a female?

Most medical students at the top med schools don't come from the Ivys or schools like JHU. In fact, the overwhelming majority come from the so-called second tier universities and LACs. If it's med school that you really want, forget the Ivy hype and look for a good fit where undergraduate teaching is the top priority. The last time I checked, the MCAT's didn't give extra credit for Ivy potty training. Before you become too impressed with the Ivys, check the CV's of the best Ivy prof's to see where they went to college.
