I'm a self-proclaimed "intellectual", and I really want to work my brain and learn in higher learning.
The thing is that I didn't have the same mentality last year, and so my grades really sucked.
This semester I am getting straight A's.
And so I'm only in the top 25%, with a 1400 on the SAT.
Another thing is my after school activities consisted of coming home and reading everyday. I'm not into silly clubs and such.
I know it's a long shot at this point, but Reed seems to be the kind of school I want to go to.

Reed is the kind of school for you, and they proclaim to accept oddballs and sometimes people that weren't number one in their class
but you can't just coast along now, or even just get straight A's. Do something to show that you're a serious student, differentiate yourself, have a stellar, representational application and you have a good chance.
