BU is huge, with about 30k students. The campus is spread all over Boston. It is less competitive than BC, and is great with merit-based aid. BC is about 20 min away from Boston, with a nice, New England college type campus. It is a Jesuit school, while BU is secular. I believe that BC is more into sports and athletics.
About application: they are so very different that it is hard to say, but Boston is an awesome place to go to school; apply to both unless it is too expensive or inconvenient. Good luck! :)

I was on the BC website some weeks ago, and I believe 20,000 apply for 2,500 openings annually. BC is also ranked higher than BU, according to US News and World Reports. BC's exact ranking is 40. Visit http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/rankings/brief/natudoc/tier1/t1natudoc_brief.php for complete details.

BC is also religiously affiliated with Catholicism.

How about School of Management? Which ranks higher?

BC is more liberal arts oriented but their business management program is very comprehensive and has an excellent reputation.

BU is more focused on "career prep" majors but not academically as good at BC. I've heard it can be difficult to get into courses there.

BC will give you more of a typical college experience; BU is a spread out urban campus.

BU might have a slight edge on internship opportunities as it is right in the center of Boston.

you pretty much have no shot at BC unless you raise your standarized testing scores. BC requires an sat (avg 1250-1390) and 3 satII's. Your sat II scores will compeletly take you out of the running. However if you were to raise your sat maybe 100 points and retake all 3 satII's then your chances improve.

BU doens't require sat II's (Ithink?) but you are still oging to want to bumb your sat score up to around a 1300.. much better chance at BU as you stand right now however
