Hi all.
i've been accepted to both for the PharmD program.
i have an interest in pursuing a PhD in the near future. which school is more research oriented? is a PhD from UW (U. of Washington) regarded differently in the 'real world' than one from USC?
thanks in advance for any and all input!!!

Nocsaq:
USC's pharmacy program is no doubt a great program. I don't know in terms of research.
I've heard that USC's research is not up to par compared to UCLA, Berkeley, Duke and the Ivies.
As for UW, I bet a billion $$$ that UW's research is much better than USC's research at Keck Med School. I don't know where USC has its pharmacy program, but I bet it's on the med school campus..in Boyle Heights..another ghetto-licious area. UW, ...campus is in a better location. Despite the constant overcast in Seattle, life there is better than facing traffic, breathing smog and dealing with rude and cold Angelenos.

Nocsaq: Go to UW's pharmacy program.

You're right fender.
UW has excellent reserach facilities. THeir campus is also beautiful, despite the rainfall in Seattle.
