I was looking at the list of Ivy league college they only show Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Yale, and one in Penn. I didn't know University of P. was a Ivy league. I thought Standard and Duke were Ivy League. They not right???

The Ivy League is a sports conference. It happens to include 8 of the top dozen or so schools in the country. A school isn't "considered" to be Ivy League, it either IS or IS NOT in the Ivy League sports conference. See the list of Ivy League colleges on this web site. :)

The eight Ivy League colleges are listed at the link in my message above. Other schools, like Stanford, may be just as good in terms of academics and prestige, but they are not in the Ivy League.
