I was homeschooled the second half of 9th grade because I was moving back and forth between states, the beginning of my freshman year I was in a small christian school and my sophomore year I was in a bigger christian school. I just finished up my junior year at a public school and they aren't giving me letter grades for my freshman year, they just passed me. So even though I got straight A's I might as well have gotten C's.
I didn't think it would be a big deal until when all the other smart juniors were getting gold and silver pin awards, I got to look stupid because all I got was a letter. I'm also worried that I won't be able to be in the top ten of my graduating class because of it. I kept all my tests and quizzes to prove that I did the work but all they gave me was a passing grade.
Has anyone else had this problem? I really don't think it's fair that they just took all that hard work away from me. I mean it's hard enough moving 3 times during highschool, but now they have to make me look dumb too? Has anyone had this problem or found a way around this problem?
