ARE there free cyber schools?

I just received information on one that is free If your local school agrees to allow you to open enroll to the Pocahontas district in Iowa--not likely as deadlines were January first. Anyway, it is k12 with William Bennett as chairman.

I live in Florida. I want to take classes over the summer via FLVS.

Is there a maximum number of classes one can enroll in over the summer?

If not I'll take 3AP's and 1Honors, it would help me free up my next year a bit.

^I would take those courses over the summer as highschool credit courses, I am not homeschooled.
