I think I know what homeschooling is, but what is unschooling?
I've seen unschooling referred to as some kind of alternative to homeschooling, but don't know anything about it. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Unschooling is a non-structured process where the student is encouraged to learn at his or her own pace, and to pursue whatever he or she is interested in.

OK, let me see if I get it - unschooling is really a variation of homeschooling? Sort of at the low end of the spectrum as far as structure goes?
