Hugs & kisses to you all
My name is Julie, I live in Boston. I am turning 18, and currently looking at colleges such as Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Smith.. and pleanty of non-ivys. lol. If any moms or dads or even students have ANY questions about the Home Schooling process, just wanting to hear my story, or the up's or downs just ask. I was H.S. from birth all the way up to 9th grade. So if you a parent deciding, or a 7th grader dreading your parents choice.. talk to me!
much love.. hope to hear from you all. If not, have a great summer!

Have you given much thought to how you're going to treat your home school experience on your college applications? While your K-8 experience is a bit of ancient history, there certainly are ways to bring that to a college's attention---in a manner that would put you in a very favorable light.

I did the same thing as citygirl, and looked at many of the top college in the country(MIT, Caltech, Berkeley, and a few others), eventually I decided on Berkeley after a few rejections and a ton on acceptances. With my home school background, i was able to do extremely well in high school (top 10%, above 4.0 all 4 years, >1400) If you want any info from me, I'd be happy to give it as well. BTW, my name is Stephen, as the sn implies.
