UM–Ann Arbor offers over 280 degree programs, but it is particularly well-known for the following:

1) STEM fields: The University of Michigan has a strong reputation for its programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The university is home to a number of top-ranked departments in these fields, including computer science, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering.

2) Business: The Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan is one of the top business schools in the world. Its MBA program is consistently ranked in the top 10 business schools. U-M offers a variety of tracks for undergrads interested in business, including a Bachelor's of Business Administration through Michigan Ross, and a minor in Entrepreneurship. 

3) Medicine: The University of Michigan Medical School is renowned for its research programs and its clinical care. The school is consistently ranked among the top medical schools in the United States. For undergrads, U-M's College of Literature, Arts and Science (LSA) offers many pre-health courses and advising for students who want to go on to medical school or other careers in healthcare. 

4) Public policy: The Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan is one of the top public policy schools in the United States. It is known for its research on issues related to public policy and its graduates go on to work in government, non-profits, and other areas related to public service. Ford School overs a BA in Public Policy for undergraduates. 

University of Michigan requires at least 120 credits to graduate with a bachelor's degree.

Students can choose the accelarated degree program if they would like to finish all the credits for graduation in less time than normal. University of Michigan accepts transfer credits. ROTC

What is ROTC?

The Reserve Officers' Training Corps, which is also commonly known as ROTC, is a leadership program that prepares students to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces after graduation. College level ROTC programs prepare students to become officers in the military through physical, academic, and leadership training. ROTC programs are part of the college curriculum and usually cover the cost of tuition.

Each branch of the miltary has its own ROTC program, but not every program is available at every school. Possible programs include Army ROTC, Air Force ROTC, and Navy ROTC.
